SOME NATIVE PLANTS THAT DON’T LIKE SUMMER WATER

These native shrubs and perennials should be planted well beyond the reach of any irrigation that’s applied more than once a month in the summer.  In nature, they tend to grow on dry hillsides.  They are happiest in a similar situation in the home landscape.
